Why You Should Create Your Own Bucket List
Can you believe that October is almost over? The latter half of this year seems to be racing by… There are only 66 days left until a new year is upon us! With that being said, it’s only a matter of time until the chatter begins regarding new year resolutions.
I can feel my neck stiffening with anxiety. So, after re-reading my post from 24 October “Your Bucket List“, I’ve decided rather than stressing out about resolutions that I only have 365 days to accomplish, I’m going to spend some quality time working on my bucket list. A list of all the things I’d like to do before I die.
The earlier post hit on some great points… motivating ourselves to start thinking about all those things, the fear that keeps us from doing so, taking the steps to put this list into action and the triumph we feel when we’ve accomplished something on the list.
The very first step in accomplishing a list… “Let your mind go. Give yourself the freedom to think about all the things you’ve always dreamed of doing. Then write them down.”
Today I will re-review my current Bucket List, Vision Board or as our friend Phil Keoghan’s, No Opportunity Wasted or (NOW), calls it…my Life List. There are a few things on my list…that we have been blessed to schedule for 2013. Look at your list now.
You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” Eleanor Roosevelt
