MomToday would have been my Mother’s 62nd birthday. She lost her battle with cancer on May 28, 2008, which was exactly two weeks after I gave her a huge hug and kiss and left for the airport from California (her home)….to head back home to Bermuda to be with my family.

Earlier in the year my Mother was diagnosed with cancer…and after a slew of chemo visits…I had decided to fly out and surprise her on Mother’s Day. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. That week with my Mother was amazing. I was able to make her meals…and take care of her. We laughed, I cried…but it was fantastic. She was still very young, 58.

In celebration of her birthday…I have decided to pull the curtain from a project that I have been wanting to do for some time. The Plan [b] Project. This is a big month for me and my Mother is a huge part of it. 1. Making The Plan [b] Project viewable to the public and 2. Global Relay For Life. It has taken close to 3+ years but have gotten Bermuda approved as the next Relay For Life Country. The written approval was received less than a week ago.

I dedicate Plan [b] to both my Mom and Dad who have always taught me to [b] nice, [b] respectful, [b] honest, [b] caring and most important, just [b] myself!

Happy [b]irthday Mom…. I am being…what you taught me to [b] and continue to do my best to raise my boys the same.
